I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Okay here we go. My soon-to-be lost hairs has left me reflecting on some of the good (and bad) days these follicles have seen. Above are 12 of them in chronological order: 1. Boy how things are coming full circle! I'll have to bring a bow to make it complete. 2. Yikes! 3. 1983 but the 70's were holding on for dear life 4. 1st Communion/bed head combo 5. 1st signs of understanding the existence of a brush, though primitive. 6. Full mastery of the ol' down the middle look 7. Is that a mullet? I'm even wearing a mesh football jersey. 8. Whoh dude. I was quite the surfer wannabe. I was sure that would never get old. 9. College! 10. Wedding Day 11. 2004 about three weeks past "it's time to get a haircut" 12. Present day bald eagle look Okay, now, back to this 5K goal. Carrie pointed out that for a guy like the one in picture #12 to get a buzz is not really a challenge or even that different of a look. SO I am "upping the ante"... IF we reach $5,000 by the end of the day on St. Patrick's Day, I will get my eyebrow/s waxed and post pictures or even video on the web. That's right. This is something I have vowed before NEVER to do but the cause and the timing is right. Now, it is up to all of us to get the word out and/or up your own ante. Make me an offer I can't refuse! and like I said before... One of the kids I am doing this in honor of is a girl named Colleen Kummer. She has a website for more info http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/the_bean She camped a couple years back with her family and inspired us all. Her family's online journal can tell that story, go to http://www.caringbridge.org/cb/viewJournal.do?method=reload&scrollPage=83&ec=486 scroll down to June 16, 2006. Now for the old old message... That's right I am shaving off what little is left! It might grow back thicker! Okay maybe not. Please consider donating $1, $5, $50, $100, ANYTHING to this worthy cause. You wont regret it. Also consider coming to AJ Rocco's to see it all happen. It will be fun! I believe this will happen between 3 and 4 pm.
