I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Dispatchers and Civilians

My first year, I donated, this year I'm shaving my head! What a great cause, and there are so many of them out there. And really, how much more interesting and fun can something as noble as this be? You get to shave somebody's head, or be a shavee? My hope is that one of these dollars is THE dollar...the one that marks a turning point in curing childhood cancers for all children, and their families. I'm fortunate to have a healthy child and this is the least I can do to show my support, love and solidarity for them and their loved ones, because they all fight it. My six year old daughter doesn't want me to do it, she doesn't understand....but I'm hoping this will be a memory that lasts a lifetime and inspires her. Thank you for visiting my page, for donating, for spreading the word about this organization and our event, and most of all....thank you for caring enough to do those things!!

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Fundraising Participant

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
