I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Tam at HKU

Hi, I am Godfrey. I would like to appeal to all of you to support the coming St. Baldrick’s Day hair shaving event. This Charity function has been supporting the care and researches of children with cancers for the past decades and they also works closely with our local Children Cancer Foundation. Being a paediatric oncologist, I have seen how cancer affects lives of children and their families. I have also witnessed the “hope turns reality” in terms of curing many of these diseases in recent years. With such impressive improvement in survival, in many forms of childhood cancers, we are now moving towards the direction of improving the quality of life and preventing long term side effects. All the advancement requires the support of new researches and treatment programs that have been funded by these charity activities. As you can see in my picture, there is not much of hair to be shaved off. Please do not give half a donation, just because I only have half a head full. Instead, please donate double because I am going to have my precious half shaved for Charity. Please give generously to St. Baldrick’s Day. Your generosity and kindness towards children with cancers will be very much appreciated.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
