I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Titans

Hi all, On March 19th, at 2:15pm, on a big stage at Colorado College, Alec will do something very Brave, he will shave his head for Saint Baldricks! They will shave him clean and shiny! Every last hair! He will sacrifice something of himself to raise awareness and money for childhood cancer research. This is a group of brave boys who have formed a team called The Bald Titans at our school. The team consists of currently 7 boys, but others are welcome and encouraged to join the team if they like. We are very proud of them all. The Bald Titans raised almost a $1000 last year by walking the neighborhoods, and soliciting friends a family, while experiencing the vulnerablity many children feel as they go through cancer treatments and lose their hair. Alec would like to raise $500.00 this year. If you are able to contribute to their cause and support their efforts you can do so by going to his website and making a donation. But you can also support them by simply giving them Kudos' for a job well done when you see them next with bald heads. We are trying to do what we can to help him reach his goals while supporting his brave and courageous desire to step outside of himself and experience life in the eyes of a sick child.
