I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am shaving my head to help conquer kid's cancer. We should all get our chance to shine. Lets give all these kids that gift. I recently was affected by the loss of my grandfather the day after Christmas. His fight with colon cancer was a surprise to my family because he did not let us know that he had it. We did not get to be there for him, hold his hand, share a smile, enjoy the laughs of our fun memories and ease his feeling of loneliness during that hard time. We all loved him dearly and know that he had his reasons for fighting this on his own. He will be greatly missed. We love you, Grandpa Rich. If I can help other families not feel the pain and loss that I have by doing a simple and selfless act of shaving my head...I will. After reading some of the stories of the bravest kids ever, I knew that this was what I needed to do to honor my grandfather. Please read the incredible stories of the kids I am honoring. I know that you will be equally touched by their stories as I was. We all need to join together to try and stop this heartbreaking disease. It should never happen to children at such tender ages. So, please help me in gathering funds to aid in the research of Childhood Cancer and be an angel for these children. Thank You!
