My Story

Hope is amazing; she loves her friends and family and holds her faith very close. Hope is in the 5th grade at Anastasis Academy. She love to ice skate, swim, surf, ski, ride hourses, fish and play with her friends. At 5 years of age Hope was diagnosed with High Risk, Stage 4, Neuroblastoma on April 3, 2007. We were brought to our knees, but ready for a fight! Hope received six rounds of high dose chemotherapy; stem cell harvest; 6 surgeries including a surgery to remover her tumor. A Bone Marrow Transplant and continued treatment over the next year receiving 12 cycles radiation. Hope completed 6 rounds of CH 14.18 anti-body and completed 6 months of 13-cis Retinoic Acid a take home chemo. Hope finished her last treatment May 18, 2008. Hope bevame a member of the "Hope Clinic" in 2010, a clinic for children long-term after cancer. We stand FAITHFUL and full of HOPE. We will never stop praising God and thanking Him for his goodness.
Hope has been in remission for 10 years and celebrated her BMT birthday in September 2017.
May 2018 will mark 10 years post treatment.
