I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

As you can see......"Bud's Going Bald"!!!!! I can't think of a better reason, after 78 years, to totally shave my head than to raise money for Children with Cancer!!!! Being a cancer survivor for over ten years now, I have to thank God each day that my colon cancer was caught early enough that with some major surgery, I am able to enjoy each new day with my family and friends. My family, along with probably most of you, have had to witness the devastation that cancer causes not only the affected individual, but the entire family. The sad truth is....not everyone is as lucky as me. Many people fight this "dreaded monster" called CANCER with everything in them, and still do not survive. As I think about the wonderful time I spend with my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, I can't begin to imagine one of them having to fight for their life.....this is WHY I am participating in this wonderful event. If you are able to donate a couple of dollars toward my goal I would be eternally grateful, if not, don't worry about it. All I ask is that you remember me on March 13th and more importantly remember the children. Thank you!!
