I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: McClatchy Baseball

I lost my godmother to breast cancer on St. Patrick's Day 2006. Tino Luigi, a survivor of cancer, is the youngest brother of my late friend and teammate Nate Luigi who we all lost in 2003. I remember hearing about how much Nate did not only to raise awareness, but also money to continue the aggressive research to fight cancer. I'm proud to help out my old friend. I'm proud to also be part of the C.K. McClatchy Baseball program, which is also as I am in our third year participating in this event. Players and coaches on the Varsity and JV baseball teams participate in showing our solidarity for all of those brave young individuals fighting through their challenges.
