I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The AthletiCo Bald Brigade

I am proud to announce that I will be participating in St.Baldricks and will once again be Shaving the way to conquer kids cancer! You heard it right " I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! 100% of all donations are given directly to cancer research foundations!!! Cancer hits close to home for countless people, which is why I feel honored to participate in such a worth while event. I have been fortunate that cancer hasn't directly affected my family however it became more real to me when a close family friend, Faith Robinson, was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) at only 15 years of age. She has bravely fought the disease and is now in a maintenance program. I am participating in St.Baldricks for every kid with cancer but I would like to especially honor Faith and show her my support. On March 12th, with the clippers in Faiths hand, my hair on the floor, and a smile on our face, I will be proud to have shared such an awesome experience with such a strong person.

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Team Captain
