I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

A child is diagnosed every 3.5 minutes with some form of cancer, and each one is a precious life we can help save. While the cause could not be more serious, we can have fun raising funds for a cure! On Saturday March 14th, 2009, I shaved my head bald to show support for the thousands of children who battle this horrible disease. We had a lot of fun at the event I had the opportunity to meet the 5 year old girl I was directly trying to honor. Financial support has been overwhelming throughout this process from my friends and associates. Thank you so much If you have not donated yet, please click the "Donate Now" button and sponsor me in "Shaving the Way to a Cure" for childhood cancer (and have a little fun watching me be bald in the process)! Here is the Youtube link to watch the video. You will need to cut and paste, this website does not provide me the ability to link directly.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHoGHAQ3aaw Thank you again to all that have donated in this process.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
