My Story

Avalon was diagnosed with ALL (leukemia) at the tender age of 17 months. After 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy - she remains cancer free today. However, her remission came with a high price. Avalon has brain and neurological damage. She needs a wheelchair for long distances, help with digestion, and requires a shunt for a brain condition she developed. Avalon has fought long and hard, and been forced to say goodbye to far too many of her fellow warriors. We are blessed beyond belief to still be able to hold her, laugh with her, and enjoy her infectious grins. Please join with us to help other parents be able to say the same thing... And stay with us, to honor the angels we've lost. Thank you, Avalon's grateful family
