I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm back to once again be a shavee for St. Baldrick's. At last year's first event for Las Cruces, we raised more than $17,000. Let's do as well this year, if not better. Why? Most importantly, it works. One my fellow shavees last year was a doctor from the UNM Cancer Center who told me it wasn't that long ago that cancer was a death sentence for children. The good news, he told me, is that research has greatly improved their survival rate, even more so than with adults. Nearly all of your donation will go to research, which will result in even more effective treatments for children who still have their whole lives ahead of them. That's enough for me; it should be enough for you. See you at The Game 2 p.m. March 14!
