I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

In Memory of Meghan Joyce You heard it right - I shaved my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. I want to give the volunteers and shavees a round of applause for a very succesfull St. Baldrick's event. The event could not take place but for the selfless acts of all the volunteers and barbers, who donated their time and talents, so that all the shavees, registered and walk-ins, could be part of this very notable event. I'm sure our honoree, Tomas, will hold this day close to his heart and talk about it for years to come, all thanks to you. Read the main event website message, where Tomas' dad, speaks from the heart about how Tomas felt during the event, and how he feels the events' participants' actions may have increased Tomas' chance of survival a few percentage points. The donation results will be forthcoming and will soon be posted. Remember that your websites will continue to be open for new donations. God Bless all contributors. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support!
