I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On March 18th, I will be shaving my head bald in support of the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Joining me are the 3 sons of a friend of mine who lost his fight with cancer. Though he was of an adult age when he passed away, Mike was very much a kid at heart and this year I participate in this event to honor and remember him and to also help all children who are fighting and will fight this disease. Worldwide 160,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year and despite tremendous progress, cancer remains the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S. and Canada. There is still much work to be done until the day when every child with cancer will be guaranteed a healthy future. In supporting the St. Baldrick's Foundation and its mission to help find a cure for childhood cancer through research, we are assured our contributions will be responsibly used. St. Baldrick's research grants help fill crucial funding gaps at medical institutions where children are treated for cancer, ensuring the finest care for every child. Support me in my decision by making a donation to a wonderful charity. Thank you so much! Andy
