I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Andy & Friends

Andy & Friends was formed in late 2004 in response for a growing demand for local Electronic Dance Music Events. Since then events that have been created by Andy & Friends have become a standard for EDM events in Reno, Nevada. We strive to provide our local community with a safe and enjoyable event while working with our community to help with different charities and they are proud to host and create many large donation events. We are currently working on a project called Dollar for Pound, where we host food drives at our events. When people come they bring canned food for donation and we take $5 off their admission price to our event. We then weigh the total amount of food donated at the event, and match the weight with a donation to the Renown Foundation for Renown Health's Cancer Center for the exact same dollar amount. So far we have been able to donate 4796 lbs of food to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and $4796 to the Renown Foundation. We have decided to try and gather our friends to help us form a team to represent Northern Nevada's Electronic Dance Music Community and show the support for our family, friends, and loved ones whose lives have been effected by cancer.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
