I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thanks for visiting the St. Baldricks website and thanks for considering a donation on my head. Since this is my first shave, I am aiming at a high goal. I do not know if I am going to shave my head again, but certainly my bald head is worth something more than my hubby calling me Britney. I am willing to shave my head so that not only can my kids learn from self sacrifice, but that I can be a good example to them. Thanks for supporting my decision by giving a donation. You can now see my bald head! I never knew being bald would be this cold! When's summer? Most importantly, remember that this is for the children. Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the United States and over 160,000 kids will lose their hair from the therapy they will undergo after they are diagnosed with cancer. I am doing this to raise awareness of this disease and to show solidarity with these children by losing my hair too. What will you do? Please help me and them and spread the word. Tell everyone you know about this and send them to my page to help and make a contribution. If not me, please help someone else, and remember all the other ways you can help. Thank you all for your time and your support. Sincerely, Deb
