I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Northport Fire Department

I want to thank all my friends and supporters who have donated on my head for the last 3 years. Last year I tried to dye my hair blonde, that was a disaster. This year I'm letting it grow. I have not had a haircut since September. Geez, I have alot of white hair! Trying to keep it managable is a job in itself. The kids think it's hilarious when I wake up. They think it's funnier when I ask to use some of their hair products! I hope you do not confuse me with with the other shavee photos when searching for my page. So please help me to help others. This year St. Baldrick's wants shavees to recruit one more person to shave their head. I am going to try to get Mr. Vanity himself, John Rosillo. winemanjr@aol.com drop him an e-mail and start bugging him to sign up. Thank you for all your support! March 09, 2008 I want to thank all of my generous supporters who came through for me this year. I was able to raise $1,805.00. The Northport event raised close to $200,000 which will probably go higher with donations still coming in. I really believe in this organization and the work they do. I have two healthy and beautiful kids and I could not imagine what it would be like if they were stricken with childhood cancer. As I told the barber before he took the clippers to me, "It's not the quantity of hair I have, it's the quality." so by looking at my fund raising report I can see all of you think my hair is very valuable. Thank you all again for your generous support! Jay
