As team captain, I’m incredibly proud to be raising money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick's Foundation in honor of my son, Gus.
Gus is 6 years old and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Our family is now at the beginning of what doctors expect to be about a 2.5-year treatment journey. Like many families who receive this diagnosis, life changed overnight. Suddenly our days revolve around treatments, hospital visits, and doing everything we can to help Gus get through this.
Despite everything he’s facing, Gus continues to amaze us with his strength, resilience, and spirit. He is brave beyond his years.
This year, members of our family are stepping up to shave their heads in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. Gus’s uncles, Matt and Jim, along with our cousin Stephen, will be shaving their heads to help raise funds for lifesaving research.
As team captain, my goal is to help raise as much as possible to support research that leads to better treatments and cures for childhood cancers. Childhood cancer research is critically underfunded, and organizations like St. Baldrick’s are working to change that.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps move research forward and gives families like ours hope.
If you’re able, please consider donating to our team, sharing our page, or helping us spread the word. Your support truly means the world to our family.
We’re fighting for Gus, and for every child facing cancer.
