I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Tease for Team Michael Bear

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Tease for Team Michael Bear

On April 15th 2019 a brave little girl raised 500$ and shaved her head to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. She did it even though people tried to talk her out of it- they loved her bright blonde hair. She did it because other kids had to go through losing their hair and unlike her- they did not have a choice about it. I was lucky enough to be the one doing the shaving, because I am this brave little girls Auntie. I was so proud of her then and I am in absolute awe of her now.

Two years later that same brave girl, Timori Faith, was diagnosed with Cancer. Stage 3 Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma.

She began many months of inpatient chemotherapy followed by 40ish radiation sessions. The treatments were brutal. There were times that she barely made it through, yet finally she rang the bell.

Timori is currently cancer free. She is in College and hopes to be a child-life psychologist on an oncology unit. She knows firsthand how much that support meant to her and wants to pay it forward.
