Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
This year I’m joining thousands of volunteers shaving their heads to raise money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.
As a mother and founder of Momma WatchaDoin, supporting families and the strength of mothers is close to my heart. Childhood cancer creates a ripple that affects not only the child but the entire family, especially the mothers who walk alongside them through treatment and recovery.
For me, this is also a personal act of awareness and renewal. I’ve experienced the effects of stress, hormonal imbalance, and the toll life can take on our bodies. Shaving my hair is my way of standing in solidarity with these children while sharing my own journey.
My goal is to raise $1,000 or more to support childhood cancer research. Every donation helps give these kids the future they deserve. Thank you for your support.
