I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am determined not to let the darkness we see and feel around us win.

My act of defiance is to raise funds for St. Baldrick's courageous and effective work supporting research to fight children's cancer.

Cancer sucks. It's touched my family and friends all too often. A year ago, Ben P. (9) developed leukemia. I was his mom's youth group leader. Since his diagnosis, Ben has undergone extensive treatment far from home. He has been a real trooper through this all, and is supported by an amazing community of family, friends, and caregivers.

But Ben and his family shouldn't have to go through this. No child, no family should have to go through this.

And no parent should have to bury their child.

The research supported by St. Baldrick's has made a significant impact in improving the outcomes and lives of those impacted by childhood cancer.

Please join me in this worthy effort.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
