**After 20 years, you would think that I'd get the donation link set up correct first time. 20th year of making an error. OOPS! Please use the above link to my donation page. Thank you for your support and generosity!**

2026 marks the 20th year of fund raising and head shaving for me! I’ve been blessed by your support and generosity. With children still being diagnosed with cancer every day, though, our work is not done. Although the Commonwealth of Kentucky continues to fund pediatric cancer research, funding at the federal level has been reduced and, in some cases, eliminated or blocked. An apolitical disease that chooses its victims indiscriminately is being subjected to the whims of politics. Increased AI funding in the battle against cancer will not replace clinical trials necessary for experimental treatments to become new standards of care.

That’s where St. Baldricks and Team Fighting Irishman come in! Without St. Baldricks, the experimental T-cell therapy that gave our hero, Patrick, a new lease on LIFE, may not have come to fruition. Or it may have moved much more slowly, in which case the clinical trial in which he participated as Patient 34 may not have been available soon enough to save him. Let that sink in.

As I stated, this is my 20th year of fund raising and head shaving! To mark this milestone, I’m raising the bar. Team Fighting Irishman has a goal of $20,000!! That’s $1000 for each year I’ve been a shavee for St. Baldricks. With less on top, I’ve grown a beard to make sure there’s something to shave!
