Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids' Cancer. This year, I'm joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
No why am I, Benjamin Rush, shaving my head? Well... it all started when I first went to McMullans back when I was 12 years old... I saw this organization and over nearly 20 years I have always been so fond of the work St. Baldricks has done to help families. So finally I decided to stop being on the sideline and join the fight and raise money for this charity.
On March 28, 2026, I am going to begin my day by running a full marathon. 26.2 miles. A feat that I did once before. Something that was scary and hard.... but this is minor in comparison to those families who have to go through the fight of cancer. So after I run a marathon, I will spend my afternoon trying to make the world a better place by helping raise money for St. Baldricks. Please donate!
