Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child?
I’m raising funds with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to support research that finds cures and safer treatments for all childhood cancers, providing hope for children and families facing this fight.
We all know someone who has been affected by this illness... a family member, friend, student, or classmate.
Personally, I am currently tutoring a middle school student who is on home instruction because of a recent leukemia diagnosis. The student's grace, positive attitude, and resiliance has been inspiring. Even while battling cancer, this student keeps a smile on their face, and tackles every challenge that comes their way.... even Algebra!
I am honored to raise awareness, raise funds, and cut and donate my hair to honor my student's strength and courage. At the KES event in March, I will be cutting and donating at least 8 inches of my hair!
KES is teaming up with St. Baldrick's – the #1 charity funder of childhood cancer research grants – in their 25th year.
Your donation can help ensure that the next 25 years bring hope, progress, and cures. Together, we speed up the progress of saving the lives of these brave children.
Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated!
