I shaved and trimmed to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved and trimmed to raise money for childhood cancer research

It's been about a decade since I last participated in St. Baldrick's, and back then I just shaved my head. This time around, I'm going all in on shaving, and donating the hair itself.

This cause hits close to home for me. I've seen firsthand how childhood cancer affects not just kids, but entire families. And the statistics are still staggering: 1 in 5 kids diagnosed won't survive, and those who do often face serious health issues for the rest of their lives.

But here's the good news: every donation helps fund research that's making real progress. St. Baldrick's is the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, and together we can help give these kids the lifetime they deserve.

Plus, I'll be honest: I'm also looking forward to the low-maintenance life afterwards. No more fighting bedhead or detangling my hair.

If you're able to donate, I'd be so grateful. And if not, sharing this goes a long way too. Thank you for letting me dust off my Facebook account for something that matters.
