I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kyra

This year, I’m shaving my head for St. Baldrick’s, and I’m aiming to raise $3,000 to support childhood cancer research. This is my first time participating as a shavee since COVID, and it feels especially meaningful to return now.

I believe deeply in this organization and the work it does. I raise funds and shave my head in honor of my aunt, whom I lost to cancer when she was just 56 years old. I was 26 at the time, and I was incredibly fortunate to have had so many years with her. Even so, the loss was devastating. I cannot begin to imagine the pain of losing a child to this disease.

That’s why this matters. Donations to St. Baldrick’s directly fund childhood cancer research, helping give kids not just a chance to survive, but a chance to grow up, build full lives, and reach adulthood.

Every dollar brings us closer to better treatments, better outcomes, and more families spared unimaginable loss. Thank you for supporting this cause and for standing with me as I take part in something bigger than myself.
