I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

On March 10, I will be shaving my head at HKIS’ St. Baldrick’s Event to raise money to support kids with cancer.

Well, you may be thinking, “Why is Brendan shaving his hair off?” People with cancer go through a treatment called chemotherapy, and when you go through it, you lose all of your hair. So we are shaving our heads to stand with them.

Here is a sad fact: every year, over 400,000 children in the world are diagnosed with cancer. I would like to help families that have children with cancer.

I am also inspired by my 5th-grade teacher, Mr. Winston, who has participated in this event for 21 years!

If you want to help, please donate to support me as I shave my head to help children with cancer. Thank you.
