I am helping to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Teddy

Teddy was my second child and second son and from the get-go he was funny, smart, stubborn and curious. When he was diagnosed with undifferentiated sarcoma at the age of 8 3/4 he met the challenge with his typical strength and bravery and he fought for 9 months, through chemotherapy, two life-threatening operations and 7 weeks of radiation, but ultimately his cancer was too rare and too aggressive for the limited treatment options we had, and he passed away early on the morning of August 16, 2010, aged 9 years, 6 months and 10 days. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him - I miss him so much. I continue to advocate and raise funds for pediatric cancer research in the hopes that one day pediatric cancer will be only a distant memory for children and their families.
