Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
I was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioma, an aggressive and cancerous brain tumor, at the age of four and a half. Over the past 2 ½ years, I have gone through 2 major brain surgeries, completed 3 rounds of radiation totaling 70 days of radiation treatment, and swallowed thousands of oral chemotherapy pills. The money we’re raising today is vital for kids like me who have exhausted the standard treatment options and urgently need researchers to find a cure. Most children with the same type of cancer die within 2 years of diagnosis. This June will mark 3 years since my diagnosis.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give kids like me the lifetime we deserve. Thank you for your support!
