My Story

Thank you for supporting us and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Matteo was diagnosed with Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in October 2016, and relapsed January 2019 while in Long Term Maintenance. He had Kymriah Car-T Therapy on May 28, 2019, a Car-T CD19/22 trial at NIH in March of 2020, and a Bone Marrow Transplant at Boston Children's Hospital in May 2020. His home hospital is Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give kids, like Matteo, a better chance for a cure. Matteo is thriving today thanks to the support of donations and grants executed by St. Baldrick's.
