I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cleveland Clinic Children’s

As a Certified Child Life Specialist in oncology, I have a front row seat to the heartbreak that children with cancer and their families experience every day. I feel like a broken record as I sit with families saying "this is not the way it is supposed to be."


Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide - and only 4% of national funding for cancer research goes to pediatrics. I have decided to donate my hair on March 30 and fundraise for childhood cancer research through the St Baldrick's Foundation. Help me reach my goal & fight for a world without childhood cancer.


Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
