My Story

Born on June 16th, 2009 to Mike and Kim (nee Kolman) Nemet, he was a special boy from the day he was born. God's love shined through Collin to anyone he met. Everyone could see Collin's kindness & thoughtfulness through his sweet smile. He could make anyone laugh & feel good through his jokes and pranks. Collin's sense of humor made the world a better place. There was a spark in his eyes that just made you feel good when he was around you. Collin's faith led him through life. He had a special relationship with God, and he was very close to Jesus. Orange was Collin's favorite color, which is the color of joy. Collin was pretty strait-laced in life, except when it came to playing board games & his favorite card game, UNO. He was a bit of a cheater when it came to that! Collin enjoyed a good french fry, with a side of extra salt. His sweet tooth was larger than life, especially when it came to Root Beer in bottles and candy! Collin loved his friends-sharing Taco Tuesdays with them was the highlight of his week at school. His Memorial & Maverick Team teachers always made sure he had fun and grew as a student. Collin was most proud of his extensive Nerf Blaster Collection and was a pretty good shot. Collin was most relaxed when his was fishing, always a catch & release. The Newburgh Heights Fire Department honored Collin as a firefighter on their squad (Badge #226).
