I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The SupportUs & The Hair

At it again… Myself along with my two oldest boys, Michael III & Maverick, and also with any luck Dan Spellicy will be shaving our heads to raise money for children with cancer. This event has always hit home for me because although I did not have cancer I did get very sick as a child spending 14 months in the hospital and had to undergo chemotherapy causing me to lose all my hair. When I started getting better all the kids on my hockey team shaved their heads too for me so I didn’t feel like the odd one out. It still warms my heart and brings a tear to my eye when I think back on it. So in lieu of that and these children today that are suffering from a terrible disease, please help my team, The SupportUs & The Hair (The Tortoise & The Hare), reach our goal of $600.00 so we can help these kids that were dealt a hand that they didn’t ask for and certainly don’t deserve. Click on the link below to donate online or I can take cash/checks in person.
