Hello,
Since 2008, I've been a volunteer with St. Baldrick's. This year, I'm taking a deeply personal step—I'm shaving my head, and I need your help.
Children with cancer often lose their hair during treatment. To stand with them, I've decided to become a "SHAVEE." My hope is that this will inspire my friends and family to donate to childhood cancer research.
Imagine hearing these four crushing words: "Your child has cancer." It's a nightmare that no family should endure. Every two minutes, a child is diagnosed with cancer, and their world is turned upside down. This is why I do this—to fund research, to give these brave kids a fighting chance, and to change lives.
Every year, 400,000 children around the world are diagnosed with cancer. In the U.S., childhood cancer takes more lives than any other disease—more than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies, and diabetes combined.
If you're reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you're considering a donation, your generosity means the world to me. I may not have much hair to shave, but I'm doing it for these incredible kids who need our support.
Join me in making a difference. Every dollar helps the smallest warriors of all—kids fighting cancer. Let's give them hope and a chance for a brighter future.
