I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Alright, let's do this one more time. My name is Andrew and I have been growing my hair out since my last donation in 2022. Since 2007 I've been growing my hair out and cutting it to donate to organizations making wigs for those who suffer hair loss. This will be my fifth time cutting my hair as a donation* and because of the tremendous support I received in 2022, this will be my second time shaving my head in support of Childhood Cancer Research.

Cancer continues to be a major source of mortality in the world and children are no exception. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and I want to support that cause again in 2025.

I've been pushing through all the awkward hair cut phases, enduring calls to get a haircut from friends/family and most recently dodging the little grabby hands of my newborn son trying to keep the mane intact. Now I'm trying to tack on some extra length before the cut date in March. I always love being able to make my small donation and continue to try to grow the impact I can make with this effort.

Please help me in supporting childhood cancer research and those affected by this disease with a donation.

*I will be donating my hair to Children With Hair Loss.
