I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: P-Didd’s Boys

This is my 18th year shaving my head to raise funds for Childhood Cancer research with St. Baldrick’s.

Every year I meet the parents and kids and listen to their stories. It’s one of those things that you can listen to and support but not something you can truly understand. In my previous 17 years of helping to raise money for St. Baldrick’s, I never imagined that one of my children would be benefiting from the research and financial support from this organization. In December of 2023, my 16 year old daughter, Emily was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is currently undergoing treatment at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse, New York. We are seeing the difference St. Baldrick’s can make each day on our new journey.

Our team, P-Didd's Boys, in the past 17 years, our team raised over $140,000 in support of research and funding to help the children suffering from cancer. We've been fortunate to shave in honor of a Cancer survivor, Archer for many years. It warms my heart every year when his mother brings him to the event. He recently received a clean bill of health. We get to see the reason for doing our small part to help kids like Archie and now our Emily face their diagnosis and treatment and hopefully recovery just like Arch!

Please donate in support of these children who really need it. My hair will grow back, giving a kid a chance for a healthy, normal life is the ultimate goal!

God Bless,

Eric
