I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Attitude of Gratitude

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?


I am a cancer survivor (remission for 16 years).  I have been serving on the Board of Directors of the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation for 7 years.  During that time I have met with many families who have had a child afflicted by cancer.  Their journeys can be a horrific challenge that affects every member of the family.  


This is my sixth year shaving my head with St. Baldrick's.  I do this to raise money and awareness for medical research to help develop better treatments - and ultimately a cure - for childhood cancer.  


Please join me in this effort with a tax-deductible donation.  If your employer offers a gift-matching option, please do take the extra minute and apply for the gift-match.
