I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Peer Counselors

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Peer Counselors

I’m shaving my head for the second time because my Grandma Suarino and my cousin David has/had cancer in the past and I am showing my respect for them. I will also be doing it for my late uncle Tim, who was loved by my family.

I am showing my respect by praying every day for the individuals who have been affected by cancer. I am also showing my respect for the rest of the community affected by cancer. It is a horrific disease that nobody should ever have to go through.

People with cancer go through so much and they are always the toughest; we need to be there for them. They lose their hair and go through extreme procedures and pain to conquer cancer. I have so much respect for them. That is why out of respect I will be shaving my head, as I honor the people who have defeated cancer and have lost the battle to it.

Any donation to this will mean the world to me as it raises money for cancer research and shows that we all care for the people who fight for their lives every day. None of the money goes to me. It all will go to St. Baldricks. Just showing your appreciation for the cause means so much to me and the community. Thank you, and cherish the moments you have now.

Yours truly, Peter Suarino
