I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello! My name is Gabriella. I am a 6th grader at Grissom Middle School. My family and I have always supported St. Baldrick’s, but this is my first time donating my hair. In the last two years my family has been truly impacted by cancer. Two three year olds in my family were diagnosed with cancer. One is in remission, and one is still fighting strong. The 3 year old that is in remission, had a type of liver cancer called hepatoblastoma, but the one that is still fighting has rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a soft tissue cancer. The tumor has caused her to have vision & hearing loss on her left side. All of the little kids in my family that have had cancer are being honored at the bottom of my page. I am super excited for the event, and I really hope that I raise, at the very least, my goal of $2,500 for the cause.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
