My Story

Tommy Popp was 2.5 years old when he was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma (liver cancer) in August of 2021. Due to early detection, Tommy underwent a complete liver resection removing a lemon size tumor from the right upper lobe of his liver. Because of the type of tumor it was, Tommy had to undergo two rounds of chemotherapy for maintenance. In June of 2022 Tommy received the news that there is NED (no evidence of disease) and continues to be monitored by his team at advocate children’s hospital.
