Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.
I participated as a shavee a few years ago and am doing so again along with the Providence High School community. My friend Kelly introduced me to St. Baldrick's. They got involved with St. Baldrick's when her daughter's dear friend, Lexie, was fighting cancer. It's a very small thing that I can do, in memory of Lexie and in the hope to put powerful weapons in the hands of doctors to discover and deliver treatments and cures for the kids and families who are praying for them. I'm going full "#0" this time on the clipper setting (I didn't ask last time and I wound up with a #2).
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
