I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has certainly taken a toll on those funds!
But why shave my head you ask?? Because if I can make that one child, one person feel like they are not alone, then I’m going to do it. Most cancer patients have no choice on losing their hair. This one small act of me choosing a bald head may empower those who do not get to choose.
Let’s lift those up who may be feeling helpless. Let’s bring light to those feeling surrounded by dark. Let’s give children the chance to witness the joys of a long life.
Cancer sucks.
Will you help me in the effort to crush childhood cancer?
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
