I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Kojacks

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

I am shaving my head for my twin brother, Gabriel.  In April of 2019, one week after we turned 7, Gabe was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma, a brain tumor.  It made him very sick and he had to learn how to walk, talk and eat again.  He finished his radiation and chemotherapy in May of 2020.  He was still working on his therapies, but he was doing so good.

In June of 2021, only one year after he finished treatment, they found his tumor came back.  He had to have another surgery to remove his tumor and he had to start all over again with his therapies and more chemotherapy.  He is currently in treatment.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
