I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Trilogy Monarch Dunes

St. Baldrick's rocks!  We need to find cures for the various types of cancers so that  kids can recover and live their best kid lives!  Run, play, and grow into their wonderful adult lives.   Back when St. Baldrick's started, almost all of the cancer research was for adults.  And St. Baldricks has brought the focus to the little people.

Having been diagnosed with cancer myself in 2021 ,  I have been fortunate to be on the receiving end of state of the art immunotherapy treatments which work for certain types cancers, if you have certain biology.  I think of immunotherapy as my personal  little miracle.   I am lucky on so many counts to fit those criteria for which the therapy is effective.

I don't want to see another young child having to receive treatments and prepare for an essential surgery to remove cancer that may impact the child's  ability to walk.  We need to fund the research to find all the little miracles so that all cancers can successfully treat all children.   Kids need to run and play with their peers and moms and dads need to think about the ordinary challenges of childhood!

Thanks for supporting this wonderful cause.
