I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Yes Way, Jose!

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Yes Way, Jose!

My name is Logan Grover, and I am shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s to raise money to help pave the way to find a cure for childhood cancer. Your donations for me to shave my hair will fund the science needed to find cancer treatments meant for children. (It will also help create an awesome wig)

I've been growing my hair for the past three years since the 2018 St. Baldrick's event I participated in. Currently my hair is around twenty inches long, which is insane; previously I've only grown my hair out for two years. The hair will be donated to Wigs for Kids who will use it to create wigs for children suffering from hair loss, whether that be due to cancer or medical conditions like alopecia.

I first started when I was eight, I saw my grandfather shave his head and I decided I wanted to participate too. However, in 2016 I discovered that a year of growing wasn't long enough to donate so after shaving for the event that year I decided to grow my hair for two years. After the 2018 shave I decided I wanted to grow it for three years. So, I have not had any form of haircut since March of 2018.

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
