As many of you know, my amazing, 10-year-old cousin, Sydney, was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. She's a smart, beautiful little lady but Syd's small stature doesn't define her. She's also a fierce, immensely brave fighter with grit and this disease has no chance. Unfortunately, Sydney's treatment is going to make her hair fall out so I want to show support and on March 14th Sydney will shave MY head (and Uncle Andy's, too, but there's little hair on my dad's head anyways!). We are shaving our heads with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help kids like Sydney, conquer cancers! Since 2005, St. Baldrick's has made possible more than $305 million in research grant funding through head shaving events like this. Feel free to donate to Sydney's cause...and if you're one of the many who already donated in Sydney's honor to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, we appreciate it and just keep sending good vibes. Also, let us know if you want to join in on the fun and shave your head, too!
UPDATE (3/12): In lieu of live streaming, we will be videoing this Sunday at noon and posting it sometime in the afternoon/evening. Check this page or Andy/Kerry's Facebook page out for a link!
