My Story

Austin is a 10 year old little boy, very caring and loves everyone. Everyone who knows Austin just loves him to pieces. He was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in December of 2005. He underwent surgery to remove the tumor then completed 33 cycles of radiation. In August of 2009 his second tumor came back, this time is was not operable. He again did whole brain radiation along with whole spine radiation for 30 treatments. After that he had gammaknife done on the actual tumor itself. Now in December 2010 Austins tumor has came back, radiation is out of the question hes had a lifetime dose. So right now Austin is doing experimental Chemo Therapy. We are into cycle 2 of his treatment and will be doing an mri next week to find out if this treatment is working. We will not give up, we will fight ever step of the way. Austin is a true miracle he never complains just kinda goes with the flow. It is truly a blessing to be Austin mother I enjoy every minute with him of everyday.
