I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Katherine

What started as a tribute to my father Charles W Ford has become a devotion to do my part in conquering childhood cancers. I am grateful to have enjoyed 53 years of good health and watching all my nieces and nephews enjoy healthy childhoods! Every child should be given the opportunity to enjoy a happy healthy childhood, sadly cancer affects the lives of way too many and the treatments take away from their lives. Please consider sponsoring my shave, any amount will help make a difference in the lives of so many! Yes, being a bald woman for a couple weeks is awkward at times but as I go into my 8th year of shaving I take pride in knowing I am making a difference. I know my dad is shining down on me, proud that I have I continued to support a cause he participated in and was passionate about making a yearly tradition himself❤️. I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.
