I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Team Katherine
What started as a tribute to my father Charles W Ford has become a devotion to do my part in conquering childhood cancers. I am grateful to have enjoyed 53 years of good health and watching all my nieces and nephews enjoy healthy childhoods! Every child should be given the opportunity to enjoy a happy healthy childhood, sadly cancer affects the lives of way too many and the treatments take away from their lives. Please consider sponsoring my shave, any amount will help make a difference in the lives of so many! Yes, being a bald woman for a couple weeks is awkward at times but as I go into my 8th year of shaving I take pride in knowing I am making a difference.
I know my dad is shining down on me, proud that I have I continued to support a cause he participated in and was passionate about making a yearly tradition himself❤️.
I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
