I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello family and friends! As many 0f you already know, I work with children that have been diagnosed with cancer. What you might not know is that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. So this year I have decided to shave my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers by fundraising for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

I feel as though the kids at Cardinal Glennon deserve better than these odds. I am also doing this to honor the life of my favorite angel, Declan Nelson. Declan unfortunately was unable to beat the aggressive form of lymphoma that he had and is now watching down on all of us from above. I will never forget how much of an impact he had on my life and this is my own way of showing how much he meant to me and how much I miss him.

I will be shaving my head on March 12th, 2021, so please donate!! I need your support :)
