2020

What a year! Earthquakes, fires, worst hurricane season on record, and of course Covid-19.

Throughout this crazy year some things haven’t changed, including the devastating statistic that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those children will not survive. And once you know this, you simply have to do something about it. So for the 7th year in succession I am fundraising to help find cures and better treatments for kids fighting cancer.

This year contributions to St Baldrick’s are down $12M and the Foundation anticipate a $10M decline in grant funding due to COVID. This means that more than ever this year the St Baldrick’s Foundation needs folks like you and me to ensure they can continue to fund the most promising childhood cancer research and save kids' lives.

Since 2013 Hannah’s Heroes has raised over US $2.4 million for St Baldrick’s, which has led to 11 separate life-changing research grants being awarded at some of the most prestigious research institutes across the US, including John Hopkins in Baltimore, the Dana Farber Institute in Boston and Duke University in North Carolina, where researchers are working on life-changing treatments and cures funded by St Baldrick’s research grants named in honour of Hannah and Cayman’s childhood cancer heroes. Together, we have already made a tremendous difference, but the fight goes on and WE NEED YOU!

On 6th December, I will be running the Cayman Islands Marathon and then shaving my head for St Baldrick’s.

You have been a huge part of my fundraising journey since 2013 and every year I am delighted and humbled by your generosity, but I need your help again! Please sponsor me and make a donation and join me in funding better treatments and cures for children with cancer.

Join me and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.

Thank You

Eugene
